Our Story
Not many of my acquaintances know but I have an extreme fear of closed spaces. Riding an elevator can cause extreme distress and anxiety for me.
Even while travelling, finding accommodation that doesn’t require a lift access is nearly impossible. Not only ‘vertical’ metropolises like New York, Hong Kong and Dubai but cities like Makkah, Madinah and London have the same issue.
Being able to see outside works like an antidote to the intense fear I feel in traditional elevators. Contrary to popular belief, finding glass lifts is not as simple as a Google search.
This means that prior to flying out I spend countless hours researching suitable places with glass lifts. I don’t want others to experience the same dead ends and futile attempts at finding accommodations and places of interest.
So, with deep concern for the wellbeing of others like me, comes this labor of love. I have built this platform with the sole intention that people will have it easier – much easier, while planning their trips, InshaAllah.
